Injustice 2, for example, works right away and gives me the proper button glyphs. I've played many games that work with my controller without any issues, and others that at least work if I use x360ce. I also don't use a bluetooth, my controller is plugged in with a 6ft cable. It's not hard to figure out which button is which, I've just always hated the xbox controller since their first system. When you say DS4, do you mean "Dual-Shock 4", or that program DS4windows? See, like I mentioned earlier, I abhor xbox icons for my button layout. Just recently switched to a Switch Pro controller for better battery life. Source: Been using DS4 on my desktop for two years now. It's not like B will be A, like if you had an 8bitdo SN30 Pro or something. Only downside is that the games will use Xbox glyphs for button prompts onscreen, but that's easy enough to figure out. Your DS4 *should* show up here, and you can enable DS4 configuration. From there, go to Controller, then General Controller Settings. Turn your controller on, then right click Steam's icon in your task bar and select Settings.
